The BACS – Blockchain Arbitration Commerce Society, with the support of the Commercial Arbitration Center, will organize a conference on the Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of the Economy in which the topic of arbitration as an ideal means of dispute resolution in new technologies will also be addressed.
The event will take place on September 25, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in the Noble Hall of CCIP (Rua das Portas de Santo Antão 89, 1169-022 Lisbon).
The main objective of the conference is to disseminate the world of the Digital Economy in order to obtain a new methodology for organizing the economy, which will greatly influence the opening of new horizons for the way of carrying out the economic activity of the future; confront the Digital Economy with the Non-Digital Economy; evaluate and conclude on the advantages and obstacles or difficulties of one economic system over another; highlight the support of Artificial Intelligence in the activity of both systems, but particularly in the Digital Economy; and to point out the role and importance of arbitration in the resolution of disputes generated in the context of the Digital Economy.
