The Luso-Brazilian Arbitration Conference returns for its XII edition on October 14, 2025. The event takes place in the Noble Hall of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a joint organization between the Commercial Arbitration Center and CAM-CCBC - Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada.
With the support of renowned Portuguese and Brazilian speakers, two round tables will take place over the course of an afternoon to analyze the current challenges of evidence in arbitration.
Panel 1: Limitations on the types and amounts of evidence to enhance efficiency and prevent dilatory tactics.
Panel 2: Reversal of the burden of proof as a sanction for lack of cooperation – how it operates and its limits.
