The Angolan Bar Association (O.A.A.), in partnership with the Commercial Arbitration Center (CAC), is honoured to announce the second edition in Luanda of the prestigious Intensive Course for Arbitrators, to be held on 28, 29 and 30 July 2026.
This training programme is inspired by previous editions successfully held in other Portuguese-speaking countries and is recognised for its academic rigour, practical relevance and real impact in equipping legal professionals for commercial arbitration.
In a context in which arbitration is establishing itself as a strategic pillar of dispute resolution in modern markets, this training aims both to strengthen skills and to prepare a new generation of professionals to act as arbitrators or representatives in arbitral proceedings.
Course Objectives
- To train and equip lawyers for the exercise of arbitral functions;
- To promote a practical understanding of arbitral procedures, from arbitration agreements to the rendering of awards;
- To encourage critical analysis and decision-making through case studies and real-life simulations.
