The XVIII Congress of the Commercial Arbitration Center took place between 2 and 4 July 2025. Over 3 days, CAC brought together national and international experts to reflect on "How can arbitration effectively respond to the present and future challenges of today's world?".
The first day was dedicated to the CAC Futuro and APA SUB-40 Commission with two panels marked by the energy and vision of the speakers who related arbitration and start-ups and debated the topic of cross-examination.
The event featured dynamic and multidisciplinary panels on the multi-door dispute resolution system, injunctions and emergency arbitrator, scrutiny of the arbitral award and fast-track arbitration. The high participation and the quality of the interventions once again marked the event. More than 200 participants and 27 speakers gathered in Lisbon, reinforcing, once again, the role and importance of the CAC in the discussion of alternative forms of dispute resolution.
The event brought together 27 sponsors and had the support of 12 institutions of the arbitration community.
